Decoration Day is the day we all bring flowers and plants to decorate the graves of loved ones, people we remember or people we wish to honour. Even if you have no one of your own buried here, you are welcome to walk through these very old cemeteries, decorate an old grave or just cherish your own memories.
Decoration Day occurs every year on the second Sunday in June. Greenwood is at 10 am and Carman is at 11 am. Refreshments are offered after the event in Smithfield church hall and lunch at Carman hall (old schoolhouse).
